One of a number of drawings by Solomon in Birmingham's collection, this one depicts the figure of 'Love'. The figure resembles the Love/angel figure in 'My vineyard, which is mine, is before me', no. 8 in the series 'Eight Designs for the Song of Songs by Simeon Solomon rendered in Photography by Frederic Hollyer' ,1878.
