Notes

A drapery study for the figure of the angel in the lower part of the right hand of the chancel east window at St Michael and All Angels Church, Lyndhurst, Hampshire. The cartoon for the other two figures in the finished stained glass panel is now in the Fitzwilliam Museum and was also used at St John's, Torquay, Devon in 1865.

Bequeathed by James Richardson Holliday, 1927.
