Notes

This parasol handle is reputed to have belonged to Queen Victoria, portraying the head of her favourite donkey, which pulled her chair around Windsor Castle grounds. According to Edward Pinto, it is believed to have been commissioned in Austria by the Prince of Wales, afterwards Edward VII.
