Basic Information

Accession Number:1965T3293
Collection:Social History - Pinto Collection
Date:1700 - 1800

Notes

This is an unusual version of the traditional cheese cradle which was open and fitted with castors to let it travel along the table. Here perhaps we can presume that the owner fitted a lid to mask the smell of the cheese.

Purchased from Edward H Pinto, 1965.
