Notes

This token is one of the Peter Kempson's series of London buildings designed by Peter Wyon. With high standards at the time in diesinking and minting, people would collect coins and tokens; leading to manufacturers minting collector's series such as Kempson's buildings. Peter Kempson also produced a series commemorating Birmingham buildings, which are in the collection.
