Notes | These were placed in people's houses as a magic charm for keeping out wild animals and other nasty things. On the front it depicts the god Horus as a child. He is conquering crocodiles, snakes, scorpions and other animals. On the back there is a magic text to ensure that nothing evil enters the house. | | Presented by the Trustees of the Wellcome Trust, 1969. |
