Notes

This drawing is part of a set of humorous drawings. There is a suggestion that this compilation was drawn by Edward Burne-Jones and other friends, including Morris, Rossetti and Madox Brown, after a move to Great Russell Street in 1861. The recto seems to suggest three hands, which presently are thought to include Burne-Jones and Madox Brown; the reverse is probably by William Morris.
