Notes

This tile was bought undecorated from Craven Dunnill & Co and later painted to a design by William De Morgan. More recently it formed part of the Alan Green collection of De Morgan wares, covering the whole thirty years of production, offered for sale to Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery in 1981.

Presented by the Friends of Birmingham Museums and Art Gallery with 50 % assistance from the V and A Museum Purchase Grant Fund, 1981.
