|Ceramicist:||Henry Pim - View biography for Henry Pim|
Henry Pim trained at Camberwell School of Art and Crafts, which from the mid 1970s became an important and influential centre for the teaching and practice of ceramics.'I prefer not to explain my work by producing a plodding itemisation of each symbol and its 'meaning'. To do so seriously weakens the power the work may have to evoke persona; reactions from the audience. To an extent, my work is anecdotal and it attempts to construct a number of metaphors, but I do not wish to provide an orthodox interpretation that might suppress other ideas that could emerge.'
