Notes | The daisy design was one of the most popular tile designs, originally designed around 1862 and produced in the workshops of Morris, Marshall, Faulkner and Co and still being made in the 1880s, then by Dutch tile companies. The design was hand-painted in green on earthenware Dutch blank tiles, early examples traditionally being ascribed to sisters Kate and Lucy Faulkner. | Presented by Mrs Roma Jones, 1990. |
