Saturday 4th July 1953'A beautiful day - Arthur and I went down on the canal side at Gas Street. This was in the morning'.Sunday 5th July 1953'The sun was shining early giving the promise of another lovely day. I went down to Gas Street Canal and spent a very interesting morning'.Sunday 2nd August 1953'Another lovely warm sunny day. Arthur and I set off early and went to Gas Street where I finished off my sketch of the buildings and canal.
