Notes | Frank Taylor Lockwood produced many different views of Yardley and its church, including two very similar studies produced in 1938. This view is taken from Butchers fields, at the back of Church Road & belonged to the butcher's Harrison's. Harrison's would buy the cattle from the Birmingham markets kept here for a few days prior to being slaughtered. | | Presented by Arthur Lockwood and Jean Barnsby. |
