Notes | Sunday 18th June 1961'I went down to the bottom of Snow Hill to make a drawing of the old houses near the Wharf. This was in the morning and I went down again in the aft. to start the painting.Demolition work still goes on - even on Sundays - now the pub at the corner of Bath Street is going - many a 'Union' meeting I have attended here - and now when it is down the catholic cathedral will be almost completely exposed to view'.
