Notes

The old Birmingham Rag Market was a popular shopping venue for many years, from the 1960s. Situated in close proximity to St Martin's church, every imaginable commodity was available here, from foodstuffs, toys and confectionery, to clothing, curtain fabric and electrical goods. It has recently been replaced by a new Rag Market building on the same location, as part of the latest phase of redevelopment of the Bull Ring shopping centre. This is one of a series of fifteen colour photographs of the Bull Ring shopping centre, taken by Victoria Ok-Osi in 1991.
