Notes

The deer is a symbol of material wealth and promotion. The birds above the deer are probably swallows because their tails are scissor-like in shape. The pine and cypress trees symbolise long life. Plum blossom, orchid, chrysanthemum and bamboo decorate the edge of the dish.
