EmploymentKeith Tyssen is a designer and maker metalware. He established his first workshop in Sheffield in 1963. He left his role as Head of Design at Sheffield Polytechnic in 1990 to design fulltime. He designs functional metalware using pewter, silver and other metals which utilise a mixture of hand-skills and machine techniques. His designs are made up in small batches by local Sheffield craftspeople. He has exhibited his work in the US (New York and San Francisco), Australia and London.
