Biography for Petrus Christus
EmploymentThe early Netherlands painter Petrus Christus was made a master at Bruges in 1444. He may have been a follower of the early Netherlands painter Jan van Eyck (c.1390-1441), over time many of his works have been confused with van Eyck's.
