Mourning or memento mori rings were often bequeathed in wills to close friends and family to be worn at the funeral and as a reminder to the wearer of the departed.This memorial ring has some plaited hair set underneath a glass shroud.

Bequeathed by Mrs Christina Feeney, 1928.
