Notes | This rich honey-coloured flint is typical of that found at Grand Pressigny in the department of Indre-et-Loire in France.Flint from Grand Pressigny was regarded as an exotic product and was traded throughout northern France, the Low Countries and the Channel Islands. It was used to make long thin knives and daggers. You can see the scars on this core where long flakes have been removed.
