Notes | This bowl is created using a double-walled construction technique, the air gap between the walls is intended to insulate the drink. The apparent thickness of the walls creates a feeling of ‘solidity’ to the eye and to the touch. It is made from a modern form of pewter, consisting of 92-5% tin with copper. | | Contemporary Art Society Special Collection Scheme. |
