Attended Ball State University, the Brooklyn Museum Art School and the Art Institute of Chicargo.
After working as an apprentice at the Leach Pottery from 1959-1961, Byron Temple spent a period potting with Colin Pearson before setting up his own pottery in New Jersey, USA, making a range of production tablewares, and later more individual pots. He is now working in Louisville, Kentucky, USA.
