Notes | This vase was created by free blowing, air was blown down a metal tube that had a blob of glass at its end to create a bubble. This bubble of glass would then have been then manipulated using a variety of tools to create the bell shape. The patterned effect is known as latticinio. | | Purchased from the VandA, with monies from the Industrial Art Museum Fund, 1872. |
