Notes

Pars was able to combine precision in recording buildings and antiquities with a soft-hued approach to landscape, and a sensitive appreciation of Italian light and colour. Capodichino is situated to the North East of Naples and this drawing is probably datable 1776-8.

Presented by J Leslie Wright1953, received on his death, 1954.
