EducationAllen Jones studied at Hornsey School of Art, London 1955-59 and the Royal College of Art, London 1959-60. EmploymentAllen became a Lithography teacher at Croydon School of Arts, London 1961, a part-time painting teacher at Chelsea School of Art, London 1965, a visiting teacher at the Hochschule fur Bildende Kunste Hamburg 1968-70, a Guest Teacher of Painting University of South Florida, Tampa 1969 and a Guest Teacher at the University of California in 1973. He lived in New York from 1964 to 1965 and visited Japan in 1974. |
