Biography for Deborah Fladgate
EducationDeborah Fladgate completed a BA (Hons) Ceramics (1975-79) at the West Surrey College of Art and Design, followed by a MA Glass at the Royal College of Art, London (1980-82). EmploymentOn leaving the West Surrey College of Art and Design, Fladgate worked at Cowdy Glass Workshop, Newent, Gloucestershire, and with Anthony Stern at his studio in in Battersea, London. She has lectured at Buckingshire College, West Surrey College of Art and Design, the Royal College and Sunderland Polytechnic. Fladgate's glass is free blown and ranges from tableware to individual pieces.
