Biography for Ercole Ferrata

Education

Pupil of Tomaso Orsolini in Genoa, and of Alessandro Algardi (1598-1654) in Rome.

Member

Member of the Sculptors Guild, 1637.

Employment

Ferrata worked in Aquila and Naples, before moving to Rome in 1647. He collaborated on works with his more famous contemporaries, Bernini (1598-1680) and Algardi.
