EmploymentFoggini was a sculptor and architect, initially trained in Florence. In 1673 Foggini was sent to attend the new Accademia Fiorentina in Rome by the Grand Duke of Tuscany, Cosimo III de' Medici. When he returned in 1676 he had adopted the Baroque style.
