Biography for Myra Louisa Bunce

Designer. Daughter of John Thackray Bunce (1828-1899) and elder sister to the painter, Kate Bunce (1856-1927). She is known for designing the frames for her sister's paintings and also made jewellery. Her father was the editor of the Birmingham Daily Post. He was associated with Birmingham Museum Art Gallery and the School of Art, and was granted freedom of the city in recognition of his contribution to art.
