EducationStudied art under his father, Samuel Henry Baker, and at Birmingham School of Art MemberElected member of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists (1884) and Royal Cambrian Academy (1908) EmploymentArtist and antiquarian. Painter, etcher, designer and antiquary; exhibited (from 1875) at the Royal Academy, Royal Society of British Artists, New Watercolour Society, New Gallery and elsewhere; took up etching (1880) ; worked mainly in watercolour (from 1887); published 'The moated houses of Warwickshire'; also designed silver and much of his work was manufactured by Liberty & Co. |
